Office Administrator & Showroom Assistant

We’re looking for an organised, friendly all-rounder to join the team at Lotus Pools and help make our exciting new HQ and wellness showroom a success.

You’ll enjoy a varied role combining office admin, supporting our service team and welcoming customers to our brand-new showroom for hot tubs, saunas and wellness products — the only showroom of its kind in Guernsey!

You’ll Be Doing:

• Handling calls, emails and general office admin
• Coordinating service visits, engineer schedules and customer enquiries
• Welcoming showroom visitors and helping customers explore our products
• Supporting sales enquiries and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly

You Bring:

• Great organisational skills and confidence using computers
• A friendly, professional approach and great customer service skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to turn your hand to different tasks
• Previous admin, customer service or retail experience is a bonus

We Offer:

• Salary from £33,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Full-time hours, 40 hours per week, with some Saturdays

We’re also looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our growing construction team.

The role would suit someone with a background in a skilled trade such as paving, tiling, plastering, stonemasonry, or a similar construction discipline who is looking to broaden their skills and develop a long-term career within a specialist sector.

Working alongside our experienced team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of pool construction and associated refurbishment.

Criteria summary:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or a relevant trade
• Experience in paving, groundwork, tiling, plastering, or similar wet trades
• Able to work independently on site tasks aswell as amongst our team.
• Good understanding of construction site practices
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Full driving licence (essential)

We are looking for a leader on the tools, are you an experienced construction and building professional, qualified, or qualified by experience in wet trades?

If you have a background of leading a team, involving what we do – groundworks, various concreting, patios and general hard landscaping, and you’re looking for a change of scenery with bit of a variety – this position could be for you

While experience in the pool industry would be of great advantage, it isn’t a deal breaker as the nature of the role involves transferrable skills from general construction, paving, blockwork, groundworks, plastering, rendering, and tiling.

You’ll have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working and assisting with others less experienced than you.

Criteria:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience
• Proven experience leading small construction teams on site
• Strong background in general construction or specialist trades
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery
• Confident communicating with team members, subcontractors, and clients
• Hands-on approach while leading from the front
• Full driving licence (essential)

We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Pool Engineer who knows their pumps from their pipes and can fix a filtration system before their coffee gets cold. You’ll work solo most days, manage your own schedule liaising with the rest of the team, solve problems on the fly, and keep our clients’ pools in tip-top shape.

You’ll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing & repairing all pool equipment

• Handling installs and upgrades with precision

• Working independently and owning your sites

• Getting amongst new pool construction works, especially in the off-season

You Bring:

• Solid hands-on experience with pool systems

• Strong fault-finding & troubleshooting skills

• Great customer skills and a clean driving record
